At least 18 people were killed and more than 50 others wounded as a result of Syrian air strikes targeting Idlib cities, Binnish, Sarmin Nayrab, in rebel-held Idlib province northern Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights said that the attacks led to a massacre in the city of Idlib, and killed three children, sisters, and their grandmother, in Bunch, as a result of targeting the popular market.
Other air strikes targeted the city of Maarrat Misrin and the city of Khan al-Sabil and the outskirts of the city of Maarat al-Numan, south of province.
The attacks come after Russia announced on Thursday a ceasefire in northern Syria.
The Syrian government forces’ artillery targeted the tenth Turkish observation post located in the al-Rashideen area, south of Aleppo, which was established under the de-escalation agreement between Russia, Iran and Turkey.
Private sources confirmed that the reinforcements of the Syrian government forces continued to reach southern Aleppo, near the Turkish observation post, while removing some of the fortifications that impede the progress of the military vehicles, which threatens to launch a possible attack.
National Front for Liberation said on Telegram that it targeted a tent belonging to the regime forces and killed everyone inside it on the strategic Mount al Turkmen, north of the city of Latakia, the borders of Idlib.
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced yesterday, through an official statement, that the cease-fire in northern Syria will enter into force on Sunday after understandings with Russia.
